Thanks for that kpatt, I think my tungsten settings might be a bit high on the camera - that's actually a grey background, but it comes out quite a striking blue

I borrowed your idea for the lightbox to use a large plastic container that can double as a storage unit for all the pieces when you have finished taking pictures.
