Hello to one and all, I hope everyone is well and enjoying the most of the fabulous weather at the moment, (well in the uk anyway!!

My name is Mike, and I am thinking of selling some of my beautifull watches from a collection that spans nearly 30 years!

I have a mint (and I mean not a mark on it) Casio CA-505 a really really gorgeous and desireable watch, I have an extremely rare and even more stunning Pulsar Y950/1 from 1983, a truely beautifull piece, and last but not least, My treasured Casio (103) A203, this was my everyday watch untill suddenly a big black blob appeared on the LCD display, I am gutted, not sure if I want to sell the A203 or get it fixed I love it that much.

I would be interested in hearing from anybody who may be interested in buying and potentialy anybody who could advise me if repairing the A203 is either viable or non viable.

I have loved these beautifull and rare pieces for many many years and this shows in the "as new" condition they are in.

Nice pieces Mike, your best bet would be to look for another working 103 module and slot that in. At least then you'd have a spare board. I had the same problem with my AA85 that had a little bleed in the corner(quite normal with this module) but I manged to find a clean one(there are quite a few different Casios that use this module, look at the link below and you'll see a couple more) and swapped the modules over. My CASIO AA-85 AA-85 wasnt too bad but I wanted it perfect.

I think in terms of the A203 I will indeed take your advice and see if I can buy a working 103 module, as the watch is just an absolute joy to wear and to own!

How much would I expect to pay for a decent 103 module?

last two that I could see sold for $80 and $120 but these were good watches. What you want to do is look for an old beater that has a good module. I am not really into the Casios one of the other guys here will tell you the current market price for a module. I think Igor just sold one for around 40 Euro. But they do come up and it is one of the best looking modules(not just casio) around IMO.
