VINTAGE ORIGINAL CASIO CFX-400 SCIENTIFIC CALCULATOR (1985)

Hi!

I´m going to sell my CFX-400 from my collection.
The watch is used, has some minor wear but is overall is very good to good condition.

Optical condition:
There are some minor scratches on the case, the crystal and on the original Casio steel strap, but most of them are hardly visible. Look & decide yourself !

Technical condition:
The watch is fully operational, all buttons are in very good condition and working perfectly.

Light & sound also perfect. LCD indicator perfect. Batteries new, replaced today.

Version info:
It is the rare silver/steel color version of the CFX-400, not the golden one. As I can remember, only very few were sold in Germany many years ago...

For all of you who don´t know much about this watch:

The CFX-400 was the most advanced scientific calculator watch ever made by Casio and is ultra-rare! In the last 10 years only a handful was offered at Ebay. Very - very - very hard to find !!!

It became one of the most collectible and most expensice Casio wirstwatches in the last decade.

I bought the CFX-40 not too long back last year as there was no CFX-400 on offer. I am slightly cash strapped now but I will go with an offer of 760 USD.

Hi! I´m back.

At the moment, winning bid is at 870,- EUR from a Japanese CASIO enthusiast from an other website, but there are also some other interests around the world.

You are now on the 3rd place. As I said I wanna wait a week or so for more interests.

The watch is also listed on other forums for SALE, so I hope there will be also some feedback.

However, I would consider to sell it for at least minimum 1.000,- EUR. Excluding P&P ! Definitely "Buy it now" is at 1.200,- EUR. That includes P&P worldwide! First offer wins then!

If I don't get such an offer or at least minimum 1k,- EUR it will be listed at Ebay soon. I hope there I will get much more for it than.

I know that's a lot of money, but the CFX-400 is it worth. It is a good investment and you can sell it in future for even much more. Real Casio Collectors know that. It won´t get cheaper, only more expensive year to year... That's a real engineers masterpiece from CASIO, the most complex digital watch ever made by man. Its in perfect operational condition as I mentioned, also no corrosion on case!

The actual problem for interests from the States is the fact that the EUR is much stronger now than the USD, so now in dollars it seems to be a horrible price and very expensive. I regret that and understand, if you´re disappointed at such a price.

Cause I´m from Germany I have to calculate in EUR and hope some collectors here in Europe will consider to pay that amount of money.

I know about that "mint CFX-400" for 1.925,- USD gone 2005 but there are two facts that should be considered in that case:

1st : It was 3 years ago, nowadays collectors items value such as a CFX-400 grows since that much more. Also the fact not even one was offered since that (3 years !!!) on internet and elsewhere I know.

2nd : To that time USD was much more worth than now (about 1EUR/ 1,20USD). Now it´s worse (about 1 EUR/ 1,52 USD), I know but that's it! If I could I would change USD 1:1 to EUR, but I coudn´t, US government should take care.... ^^

So I will be still waiting for offers, perhaps someone will brake the 1k EUR limit, than I will decide to sell...

As described on the other forum, the first offer I get at 1.200 EUR and its definitely yours !
